COLLEGE BASKETBALL — March 6
NOTRE DAME at MARQUETTE
(Marquette -7) — Yes, Notre Dame has played better without Luke Harangody. That happens when you become a less predictable team for opponents to defend, get better ball distribution, play better defense, are more deliberate with the ball, and are more successful in the three-point game, all of which the Irish have experienced since Harangody went down with his injury. Harangody had taken 37% of his team’s shots, the highest percentage in the country. Now they are more of a puzzle to deal with. Consecutive wins against Pittsburgh, Georgetown and U-Conn have put them very much into the at-large picture. Count on another honest effort here, against a Marquette team that has covered four straight in the series.
